National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) is planning to set up a 2 MW solar project at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Tiruchirappalli, located in the state of Tamil Nadu. The institute has invited engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors to develop the project. The scope of work includes the designing, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization of the project. The tender also comes with the provision of operation and maintenance services for a period of five years from the date of commissioning (power evacuation to substation).
