Chettinad Cement is planning to expand its cement plant in Karikalli and Dholipatti in Dindugul district of Tamil Nadu. The project involves expanding cement production capacity from 4.5 mtpa to 9.0 mtpa. Land required for the project is already available.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 11,000 million. Slag required for cement plant will be procured from JSW Bellary and Salem. As of December 2018, the project is in planning stage.
