Seshasayee Paper and Board is planning an expansion and modernization programme at its Erode plant in Tamil Nadu. The project involves expanding the production capacity from 1,32,000 tpa to 1,65,000 tpa by modernization of paper machines.
It will also increase waste recovery and effectiveness of water treatment. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 3,150 million. The expansion programme is likely to be completed by end 2021.
