Sri-Pavala-Vannar-Perumal-Temple-Kanchipuram

Sri-Pavala-Vannar-Perumal-Temple is a Lord Vishnu temple in midst of Kanchipuram among other myriad temples. The temple is a part of 108 Divya Desam temples (Bhuloka Vaikuntam)

The temple is believed to be built by medieval Cholas and later also contributions from Kulothunga Cholan in 11th century and Vijayanagar Kings in 15th to 16th century. There are inscriptions found in these temple which records the history of yester years.

According to legends, the Lord Vishnu is worshipped by Thirumangai Alzwar. There is also a temple tank known as Chakra Theertha.
