Sri-Thazuvakozhundeeswar-Temple is a Lord Shiva temple in Mel Padappai in Kanchipuram District.
The temple is an ancient one built during Pallava period. According to historians, the temple is one among the 108 Shiva temples built by Nandi Varma Pallavan during 7th century AD
According to legend, Sundarar have worshipped the Lord Shiva here and he mentions the Lord Shiva of Padappai in the poetry he sang on Vridagiriswar in Vridchalam. In Navagrahas – Chandran have worshipped Lord Shiva here.
