Sri-Vijayaraghava-Perumal-Temple is an important Lord Vishnu temple in Thiruputkuzhi, a small town in Kanchipuram. The temple forms a part of 108 Divya Desam (Bhuloka Vaikuntam).
The Lord Vishnu here was worshipped by Thirumangai Alwar.
In line with historians, the temple was built by Pandya kings in the 13th century AD which can be inferred from the inscription in the temple.
According to legends, the Sri Rama has performed the last rites of Sri Jatayu here. ThiruPutkuzhi aslo gets that name, because kuzhi means ground where cremation is done. Pull(as in Tamil) means bird (Jatayu)
