Tamil Nadu government through Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) is setting up a tertiary treatment reverse osmosis plant in Hosur in Tamil Nadu.
The board has invited bids in October 2021. The scope of work includes design, build 20 MLD capacity tertiary treatment reverse osmosis plant in two phases (10 MLD each) for treating Kelavarapalli dam water, and operate and maintain for 20 years at Hosur in Tamil Nadu. The project is estimated to cost for Rs 151.1 crore.
