CLP Power India Pvt Ltd has commissioned its wind power generation unit in Theni in Tamil Nadu. Vestas Wind Technology has supplied the wind power turbines. With this the company’s capacity of wind power has gone up to 446 MW. The unit will sell its power to TNEB and has signed a 20 year power purchase agreement.
