Hitachi Automotive Systems India had set up a manufacturing facility near Chennai at Onehub Industrial Park with an investment of Rs. 3130 million. The plant has 24 acres of land which will facilitate future expansion programme. The new facility will initially make ignition coils and valve timing controls. It will cater to multinational car manufacturers such as Nissan, Ford, Hyundai and Honda.
