Chettinad Cement Corp is planning to expand its cement plant in TN. The project involves adding 2 million tpa cement capacity at its Dindigul unit in Karikkali village, Tamil Nadu. Currently the unit has an installed capacity of 1.4 million tpa. The project is estimated to cost Rs.5000 million. As of July 2009, the company’ board has approved the investment proposal.
