Bosch Ltd is planning to expand its Chennai plant with an investment of Rs. 400 million. Currently, the plant manufactures front-loading washing machines and has a capacity of 3,00,000 units per year. The company plans to introduce new line of products and make use of available free 42 acres of land at its existing site.
