Sri-Avaneeswarar Temple is a 1000 year old Shiva temple in Kandiyanallur in Thiruvannamalai district.
The temple was renovated after it was found in ruins by the village people in the year 2017. As per the legend, the temple was built by Arunmozhi Devan who is a chieftain of Chola King – Rajendra Cholan.
