Sri-Bramhapureeswarar-Temple-Perunagar-Kanchipuram

Sri-Bramhapureeswarar-Temple is an ancient temple in Perunagar-town in Kanchipuram district.

It is a large temple covering 4 acres and needs a lot of upkeep.

It is a temple of over 1000 years old patronized by Chola Kings, Pandyas as well as by the Pallava Kings. Here you will find Chola period inscriptions.

The legends has that Lord Bramha, Durga, Ganapathi worshipped here and has a sacred Bramha theertham – the temple pond.
