Sri-Veerateswarar-Temple-Padappai-Kanchipuram

Sri-Veerateswarar-Temple is a Lord Shiva temple in Padappai-in Kanchipuram district.

The temple is also a padal petra sthalam, as Thirugnasambandar has worhsipped Lord Shiva here and mentions in his poem, when he sang on Virduthakeereswar Temple in Vridachalam.

According to Legends, Chandran has worhsipped Lord Shiva here. Also Nandi Varma Pallavan who has constructed 108 Lord Shiva temple and this temple is also one of it.
