GE Renewable Energy has set up a renewable hybrids factory in Vallam, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The new manufacturing facility will produce system-integrated battery energy storage solution like Flexinverter and Flexreservoir products. These products are considered efficient with grid resiliency and reliability. The plant has gone operational in February 2022.
